Model Cabinet
The Exchange Show is on at the Concourse Gallery this week so I had to make a piece to submit. I chose to make a model of the cabinet me and Hannes Lundin are working on together. The model is almost entirely hand cut and glued from basswood (got lazy and laser cut the drawers). I thought it would be nice to have a scale model while we are still working on the design.
Currently me and Hannes are working together to sort out construction details in order for him to begin fabrication. It has been a nice experience in organization to work with Hannes over Skype from Stockholm to Vancouver.If you have time this week go down toe Emily Carr to check it out, lots of interesting work from abroad!
